Registration:
Before you can make your picks, you must register. Just choose the "register" menu item and fill in the form. You will first be asked for your "Profile Name". This is the name that the other users will know you by. Your "User Name" is the name you use when you login to the system. It should be different from your profile name. Then enter your email address and check the box saying you have read the service agreement. At this point you will be sent some email with your confirmation code. Wait for this email to arrive and then choose the "Picks" menu item. This is a secure page and you will be prompted for your user name and password. Once in, you will be asked one time only for your confirmation code. The confirmation code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly. The best thing to do is to copy (select and ctl-c) it from your email and paste it in (ctl-v) when prompted. After you hit the submit button you will be able to start making your picks for the entire season.

Making your picks:
For each race you make seven choices, the pole position and the first through sixth finishing positions. You are not permitted to choose the same driver (except for pole) more than once. The site will warn you if you have duplicates, so I give you fair warning that if you do have duplicates in the finishing positions you will be disqualified for that race. You can come back later and change your choices if you like, but after midnight (EST) on the Thursday before the race your picks will be locked. On the Friday before the race you will be able to view all the other players picks for the upcoming race. This feature keeps everyone honest eh? If you don't make your picks before the Thursday night deadline your previous picks will be put in place for you. It's best to make some choices in advance in case you cannot get to the site later. You can always make changes until midnight (EST) the Thursday before the race if you like.

Scoring:
For picking the right driver for the pole position, you will receive one point. Picking first finishing place will get you 10 points, 6 points for picking the second finisher, 5 for third, 4 for fourth, 3 for fifth and 2 for correctly picking the sixth position. If any of your picks comes in in the first six positions but not as you selected, you will get one bonus point for each. In the case of a tie at the end of the season the following conditions in order will determine the winner.
  • Most race winners picked.
  • Most pole positions picked.
  • Most 1,2,3 finishes picked.
  • Share the win.
